Chapter 840 Legendary Claws

When they arrived, both parties saw each other, but the System announcement struck Freedom Sky by surprise.

Of course they didn’t want to return empty handed, but what else could they do?

Ruling Sword wasn’t an average new guild. Although it had only just been formed, but they have been fighting against the Gangnam Royals for half a month already.

Some players had even noticed that as soon as the Ruling Sword members came online, they would seek out Gangnam Royal players for a fight. Those who were clueless thought that they were bonding over these fights, but most of the Gangnam Royals had begun to hide.

Although new guilds often struggled, there were also some advantages that they had.

The Gangnam Royals were in a tight spot, and had apparently asked Drizzle Court about a peace treaty. They wanted to end this guild war that had dragged on for too long.

There was no way that Freedom Sky would claim to be stronger than the Gangnam Royals, so there was nothing to gain here for them. They could only smile and say hi, as if they were just strolling by and quickly left.

Lu Li wasn’t surprised by this outcome.

On the other hand, he was beginning to view Fat Monkey in a new light. Although the tactics were plain and simple, it was great to see someone with such a heated temper become more rational instead of jumping headfirst into a fight.

After they obtained the First Clear, the next task was to split the loots.

Remnant Dream went over to loot the body.

Someone had conducted a test and had asked other lucky players to loot the bodies of the same monsters. After thousands of trials, Remnant Dream was unanimously proven as the best.

Luck wasn’t an attribute that could be seen, but it definitely existed.

It wasn’t so obvious on small monsters, but Bosses were a completely different story.

Almost all guilds had someone who was in charge of looting, while other players were required to stay away after the battle. Those who touched the corpse without permission were punished. While this often resulted in the deduction of some guild points, in extreme cases, the offender would be kicked out of the guild.

Lu Li wasn’t certain if Azuregos was going to drop a Legendary equipment.

However, the chances were bound to be good – after all, this was the First Clear of a Wild Boss.

Eskhandar’s Left Claw!

When those three words left Remnant Dream’s mouth, the atmosphere in the Ruling Sword camp began to boil.

Lu Li was slightly disappointed, but he didn’t let it show. This was definitely an exquisite item; Shamans can use this all the way until level 60 at the very least.

Eskhandar’s Left Claw was suitable for buff Shamans and melee Shamans. It leaned towards physical damage and its main specialties were speed reduction and bleed.

There was a total of three special effects on this weapon; two of them were linked with movement speed reduction while the other was bleed-related. Any class that fought a Shaman with this equipment would be in a lot of pain.

This equip was assigned to Sakura Memories. She was currently a competitor for Ruling Sword and this reason was more than enough.

Thieves could use this weapon too, but Lu Li was too accustomed to his daggers. He would consider replacing them them with a short-sword but definitely not with claws.

Typhoon – a two-hand giant sword.

This came with a Whirlwind special effect that didn’t share a cooldown with the same Warrior skill.

Of course, the damage from the special effect was nowhere close to the actual skill.

This was a weapon that Azure Sea Breeze couldn’t use and Moonlight didn’t like. Moonlight thought that Whirlwind wasn’t the type of skill that was better with more usages; it was more important to use it at the right timing. As such, Typhoon was up for grabs.

Although it wasn’t Dark Gold grade, giant swords were a popular choice of weapon.

The players who could equip giant swords went wild. Lu Li could only sigh at the fact that they just haven’t seen a bigger world. Were those points really free? They didn’t count how much this weapon was worth in real money.

But then again, who really cared when they were in a heated atmosphere like this?

Those who dared to call prices were players who were rich in real life; they didn’t mind spending money to buy a weapon they liked. Not only did this improve their strength, but it also made them look better.

A Berserker with the ID ’Lady Tears’ ended up taking home the giant sword.

Lu Li immediately took note of this player. He was a battle maniac who was affectionately called ’Lady’ by his friends. He often went to the battlegrounds with Moonlight and Fat Monkey, and apparently, his techniques was quite good.

He had completely used up his own guild points for this equipment, and had also borrowed some from others.

The points in Ruling Sword could be lent, but the transferal process would incur a 50% tax. This meant that if 100 points were transferred, only 50 would be received.

Under normal circumstances, no one would lend out their points.

Lady Tears seemed to have purchased points from another player at a high price; it seemed like he was quite rich as well.

The third equipment was also Dark Gold, but it wasn’t a weapon this time. It was a cape instead – the Drape of Benediction.

A Dark Gold cape was very rare; even Lu Li only wore a Gold cape himself. However, his was a part of the Voodoo set, so it couldn’t really be compared.

The Dark Gold cape made everyone’s mouths water, but unfortunately, this was a Warlock exclusive, so none of the other magic classes could equip it.

Why did the System have to make it Warlock only?!

This was a common situation in Dawn and would grow even more common as equipment became higher grades.

Sesame Rice Balls had the most points because he often teleported people in team events, especially the Trial Tower. He even had to die a few times to get past the dangers, so he was generously compensated.

Theoretically, this equipment should have been given to Kitty Likes Meat, who was still in the beginning stages of being a new competitor for Ruling Sword.

However, Lu Li had to take Sesame Rice Balls’ feelings into consideration.

There was no way that everyone would actively give out the equipment that they wanted to someone else; that was too political.

Lu Li also didn’t think that he was charismatic enough to have someone give away their profit and still be thankful for it.

Sesame Rice Ball was someone who had followed him from the very start. If he didn’t consider his wellbeing, then the others might think that he was shallow.
